Growing up in the 90’s, there were so many great animated adverts for chocolate, soft drinks and sugary cereals. It’s always been a bit of a dream of mine to animate for some kind of junk food. So when Flesh and Bones asked me to be involved with a 4 video series for Kit Kat, I think I wet my pants a little bit.
As we all know, Kit Kat has always implored us to ‘Take A Break’, and this series ran with four different kinds of breaks: Lunch Break, Dance Break, Big Break and Winter Break.
My role was to bring the storyboards to life as animatics, and animate the Kit Kat bar so that Tony Benna could replicate it with stop motion.
But my most favourite part was animating Aaron Ray's fantastic characters. They’re just so great.
